EDIT: This is quite a popular one, getting a good number of views in only a few weeks, also a lot of requests for the sheet music to this cover. So I transcribed it and you can get it here: studiorat.net -Request- A request but also a recent favourite of mine, only started listening to this group in the last few months, then on a whim last week i bought tickets for their show in Dublin in April so hopefully that’ll be good. Not a tough song to play, probaly what makes it so catchy. However because it is based around the same four chords, the difficulty comes in creating variation throughout. Thats obviously not a problem when there’s more instruments and there’s someone singing, but it’s something that has to be dealt with when covering things just with a piano. Enjoy!
EDIT: Apologies for the delay in getting this transcribed, wasn’t sure whether or not I should re-do the video from a different view first, but in the end I left it as is. Sheet music is now available here: studiorat.net By request. A damn good tune by a damn good Irish band. My best effort, could have done with a bit more variation, but i didnt want to make it over complex or it would drown out the basic left hand broken chords in the verses. Enjoy!
